It is preserved peeled in its own juice, that is, immersed in its own pulp to maintain its soft and balanced taste, and is distinguished by its high sugar content which makes it particularly tasty and gives it a full flavour.
It is perfect for adding a touch of character to recipes, and being peeled it is also suitable for preparing sauces, creams or soups.
The Datterino Rosso , from the point of view of taste, is a tomato with a sweet and aromatic flavor (medium-high Brix coefficient). It is also distinguished by its low acidity and its full flavor. It does not require long cooking times and is easily adapted to all preparations.
Storage methods
Keep in a cool, dry place. Once opened, if not completely used, store in the refrigerator (1÷4°C) for a maximum of 3 days.
